Transition to the Electronic Household Books
The transition to electronic statistical reporting is a requirement of the time, a number of statistical reports, such as the labor report (monthly, quarterly), industry (monthly) report, report on the paid services to the population and retail trade (monthly) are provided in electronic format within the framework of the Project National Strategy for the Development of Statistics for 2016-2018, Grant ECASTAT.
The next step in this direction is the transition to an electronic household books of urban and rural local self-government bodies. It should be noted that in order to implement these activities, Nurek town of Khatlon Region and Zafarabad district of the Sughd Region were selected by the statistical authorities as pilot (experimental) regions and a special program was developed to enter information from the household books.
In order to introduce the electronic household books, a workshop was held on August 31, 2017 in the assembly hall of the local executive authority of Zafarabad district of Sughd Region with the participation of secretaries and responsible persons of city and rural local self-government bodies of the district.
The Deputy Director of the Agency on statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Davlatzoda K., the Head of the Main Department of the Agency on statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan in Sughd Region, Nakhatzoda Kh., and the First Deputy Chairman of the Zafarabad Region, Homidzoda I.O, took part in the seminar and spoke with the participants about the introduction of the electronic household books.
It should be noted that the electronic version of this program was prepared within the framework of the National Strategy for Development of Statistics Project by the local contracting Company CAIConsulting and presented for testing and improvement.
Head of the Programming Department of the Main Computing Center of the Agency on statistics - F. Mirpochchoev familirized the participants with the program, data entry procedures, obtaining of information based on the application of information users on household books.
During the workshop, each jamoat was provided with one laptop which were purchased by the United Nations Population Fund. The workshop was well organized and the responsible persons of local self-government bodies noted that the development of databases will be implemanted in due time.
