An extended meeting of the board "On the performance of the state statistics of the Republic of Tajikistan for the nine month of 2015 and tasks for 2015" was conducted at the Statistical Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. The meeting was attended by the Agency management, heads of the departments and divisions of the head office, the SA’s "Main computing center", main statistical departments of oblasts and the city of Dushanbe, local statistical offices of the regions of republican subordination and invited experts from the relevant ministries and departments of the republic.
The meeting was opened by the Director of the Agency for Statistics under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Hasanzoda Gulnora.
It was noted that the statistical agencies of the country, guided by the Message of the President of the Republic of
Tajikistan, Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan and orders and decrees of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, performed the program of statistical work for the nine month of 2015, approved by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2015.
Altogether there were about seven thousand statistical works; in the nine month of 2015 the agency received 78 decrees and 332 instructions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, 1017 letters from the ministries and agencies, the performance of which was provided in a timely manner and relevant answers were submitted as required.
Information, statistical reports and collections, which were offered to the consumers in a timely manner, had been regularly prepared. It was emphasized that effective cooperation with relevant international organizations, ministries and departments was established in this regard.
In the course of the board meeting the reports on the results of state statistical bodies for the nine month of 2015 and further targets for 2015 at the regional level were heard.
In the course of the meeting various issues of quality to conduct statistical work, timeliness and accuracy of statistical information, compliance with the existing methodology for the official statistics building were discussed. It was emphasized that special attention will be focused on the issue of reliability of the information to further enhance the quality and level of statistical works.
We were tasked to conduct the monitoring data of primary reports from the business entities, especially on agricultural statistics (harvesting, crop area and crop yields), livestock (cattle population, milk and honey production), producing domestic industrial production, especially school uniforms, export and import of food products, etc.
